Tourism Business Support Packages
The Tourism industry will be one of the biggest markets to benefit from the 2012 Games, both before, during and after, with many experts predicting the Games will generate £2.1 billion for the British economy between 2010 and 2018.
The Games, seen by many as the re-branding of Britain, will see the South East become a popular tourist destination, both for day visits and holidays.
Go Surrey and the Visit Surrey Partnership are offering a tourism business support package including:
- Training: A list of upcoming training course can provided by Tourism South East and SEEDA can be found here.
- Familiarisation visits: Come back and check on this in 2011, when the tours will be on offer.
- Resource packs: The resource packs will be available in 2011, to register you interest to receive a pack, please email london2012@surreycc.gov.uk.
- Marketing support: We are currently working on a plan for marketing opportunities for tourism business. Please email us to receive this plan when it is ready to go london2012@surreycc.gov.uk
