Line the streets and see all the action

Local residents

Last year Surrey had more people than The Tour has ever seen lining the streeets to cheer on the cyclists. This year, we want to see even more people joining the fun and creating a fantastic atmosphere.

If you are traveling on or near the race route at the time of the event you may need to allow for additional travel time to get to your destination. If you are held at a junction whilst the race passes through it is likely to be for 10 to 20 minutes.

Community events

If you have community events organised for Saturday 21 September on or near the race route please email us at tourofbritain@surreycc.gov.uk to let us know. We can help to promote your event, provide advice to ensure you are not disrupted by The Tour of Britain and tell you about any parking restrictions.

Planning a wedding, christening or faith service?

We are working with the registration service to inform wedding parties if they are likely to be affected by the race. In practice, it's likely that some wedding parties need to allow extra travel time to and from their venue.
