Biography

Coming from a family with a rich history of shooting, Sheree is the fourth generation of the Cox family to be a member of the British shooting squad. Initially practicing the sport at the age of seven, Sheree later joined a rifle club at the age of 13. Within a year Sheree was selected to represent her country.

Since then Sheree has quickly risen through the rankings and has achieved a number of medal wins at various international competitions.

Her favourite Olympic memories are watching Kelly Holmes two Gold medal wins in 2004 and Steve Redgrave’s fifth Gold medal win in 2000. Sheree now has her sights set on representing Great Britain at future events and will continue to compete at competitions prior to the 2012 games.
