Young leaders Programme

The London 2012 Young Leaders Programme offers a group of disadvantaged young people the chance to make positive change to their lives. Sponsored by BP, the programme will run from April 2010 until the end of the Games in September 2012.

The selected young leaders will take part in an 18-month training programme designed to improve their communication and leadership skills, with training delivered at a local, regional and national level through workshops, mentoring programmes and events.

So far 19 young people from Surrey have been selected for this programme.
