Personal Best graduates meet Olympic Legend Jonathan Edwards
After successfully completing the Personal Best volunteering course, students received their graduation certificates from Olympic Legend and LOCOG Board Member Jonathan Edwards. As well as being presented with their certificates, students attended an inspirational speech and a Q&A session with the Olympic Legend.

Guildford Heat's Creon Raftopoulos wins coach of the month award
After only his second month as coach of Guildford Heat, Creon Raftopoulos has been awarded with the British Basketball coach of the month award. Making a huge impact on the team and the league, Raftopoulos has helped his team secure three wins in four games and secure a position in the BBL trophy final.

Freewheelers Film Night
Cobham based theatre group the Freewheelers Theatre Company have announced the next date of their exiting film nights. Awarded with the 2012 Inspire Mark, the talented group of performers and production team will be premiering some of their best films On 15 December 2010.

Intern reports on her time with the 2012 team
Since graduating from the University of Kingston with a first class degree in Marketing Management, Natalie Welsh has joined Surrey County Council's 2012 team on a three-month internship. Natalie has been busy marketing Go Surrey's social networking site, in particular Facebook. Natalie reflects on her experience so far and what she hopes to achieve from this.

Pre-Games Training Camp Update
In recent months Surrey County Council's 2012 team and partners have continues to develop it's Pre-Games Training Camp programme. Since the high profile visits from delegations from Mongolia and Antigua and Barbuda, further foreign Olympic and Paralympic teams have registered interest towards the county.
