Surrey has a strong sporting heritage, home to Bisley, the National Shooting Centre, and to the training base for Chelsea football club in Cobham.
Surrey has a rich and diverse culture and community which prides itself on it rich landscape, thriving towns and historic connections.
Surrey's 2012 vision
Surrey’s vision for the 2012 Games, "Be Part of It", is to maximise the benefits to businesses, communities and the overall health of the county and to leave a positive legacy beyond 2012.
Our approach will make the most of the opportunities to make our county safer and stronger.
